1Agreement to Terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms", "Agreement") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and Skinora AI ("Skinora AI", "we", "us", or "our"), governing your access to and use of the Skinora AI mobile application, software, services, and associated content (collectively, the "Service").
2Non-Diagnostic Medical Disclaimer (Crucial Notice)
- No Doctor-Patient Relationship: The Service, including any skin appearance score, condition metrics, heatmaps, or recommendations from the AI Coach, does not establish a doctor-patient, healthcare provider, or clinical relationship.
- Not for Medical Decisions: You should never use the Service to diagnose, treat, mitigate, or monitor any medical skin conditions, rashes, suspicious moles, skin cancer, melanoma, or infections.
- Consult Licensed Professionals: Always consult a licensed board-certified dermatologist, physician, or qualified healthcare professional regarding any medical questions, symptoms, or health conditions.
- Emergency Situations: If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services (such as 911 or 112) or seek immediate emergency medical care.
3Eligibility & Account Registration
A. Age Requirement
You must be at least 16 years of age (or the age of legal majority in your country of residence) to access and use the Service. By using Skinora AI, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
B. Account Security
When creating an account with Skinora AI:
- •You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information.
- •You are responsible for safeguarding your password and credentials.
- •You accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
- •You must immediately notify us at contact@knapps.in of any unauthorized use or security breach.
4Permitted Use & License Grant
Subject to your strict compliance with these Terms, Skinora AI grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable license to download, install, and use the application on your personal Android device solely for your own personal, non-commercial skincare tracking purposes.
Prohibited Activities
You agree that you will not:
- •Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code or proprietary machine learning model weights of Skinora AI.
- •Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works of the Service.
- •Use automated scripts, scrapers, bots, or extraction tools to gather data from the application.
- •Resell, rent, lease, distribute, or commercially exploit the Service without our express written consent.
- •Circumvent or disable any security features, DRM protections, or authentication mechanisms.
- •Upload photos or content that infringes upon the intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights of any third party.
5Facial Images & User Content
A. Your Ownership
You retain all ownership rights in the photographs, profile details, and personal data that you capture or submit to Skinora AI ("User Content").
B. Limited Processing License
By capturing or uploading facial photographs through the Service, you grant Skinora AI a limited, royalty-free license to process your facial landmarks strictly on-device for the sole purpose of providing you with your cosmetic skin analysis, heatmaps, and personalized routines, in full accordance with our Privacy Policy.
C. Zero Data Monetization
We do not sell, rent, or trade your facial photographs, biometric data, or private health details to third parties, advertisers, or data brokers.
6Skinora Premium & In-App Purchases
A. Premium Features
Skinora AI offers optional premium subscriptions ("Skinora Premium") granting access to advanced features such as visual age estimation, detailed biomarker heatmaps, unrestricted AI Coach consultations, and custom routine builders.
B. Billing & Auto-Renewal
- •Subscriptions are billed through your Google Play Store Account upon confirmation of purchase.
- •Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the end of the current billing cycle.
- •Your Google Play account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the conclusion of the active subscription period.
C. Cancellation & Refunds
- •You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time within your Google Play Store Subscriptions settings.
- •Cancellations take effect at the conclusion of the current prepaid billing period; no partial refunds are issued for unused intervals, except as mandated by Google Play policies or applicable statutory consumer laws.
7Intellectual Property Rights
The Service, including its design, branding, logo, software code, machine learning model architectures, UI graphics, texts, illustrations, and trademarks, is the exclusive property of Skinora AI Technologies Inc. and its licensors, protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable intellectual property laws.
8Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Skinora AI disclaims all warranties:
- That the Service will meet your specific dermatological expectations or aesthetic requirements.
- That facial scanning results, scores, or condition assessments will be error-free, uninterrupted, or 100% accurate under varied lighting, camera resolutions, or makeup applications.
- Concerning the suitability, safety, or efficacy of any third-party skincare products, ingredients, or lifestyle tips suggested by the AI Coach.
9Limitation of Liability
- •Your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, the Service.
- •Any cosmetic outcomes, skin reactions, or adverse events arising from following routine tips or product suggestions.
- •Unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure of your transmissions or data.
- •Technical glitches, camera malfunctions, or hardware inaccuracies.
In no event shall our total aggregate liability exceed the amount paid by you, if any, to Skinora AI during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or fifty U.S. dollars ($50.00 USD), whichever is greater.
10Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Skinora AI Technologies Inc. and its affiliates, officers, agents, and employees from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Service.
11Termination
We reserve the right, without notice and at our sole discretion, to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service for any violation of these Terms, illegal conduct, or security reasons. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support or deleting your account in the Profile settings.
12Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered in accordance with standard commercial arbitration rules, or in small claims court where applicable.
13Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to revise or modify these Terms at any time. When updates occur, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. For substantial updates, we may provide an in-app notification. Your continued use of Skinora AI after any revisions demonstrates your agreement to the modified Terms.
