BP Care Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how KN Apps ("we," "our," or "us") handles your privacy when you use the BP Care mobile application (the "App").

We are committed to maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and security of your personal health metrics. BP Care is designed with a privacy-first, local-storage architecture. You are not required to create an account, register your personal details, or connect to any cloud server to monitor and log your health records.

1Information We Collect

BP Care is built to operate as a self-contained local tracking tool. When you use BP Care:

Health & Metric Logs: Blood pressure readings (systolic, diastolic, pulse), measurement dates/times, category tags, weight, notes, and reminders entered by you are saved strictly on your local device.
No Account Data: BP Care does not collect your name, email address, phone number, or passwords because no user account registration is required.

2Local Storage

All blood pressure logs, trend charts, history records, and custom application settings are stored locally on your device's internal storage (via SQLite / localized device database).

BP Care does not provide cloud storage for health records.
BP Care does not provide cloud synchronization for health records.
KN Apps does not remotely access, transmit, host, or store your local health records on external servers.

3Device Information

To ensure application stability and optimize performance across diverse Android devices, automated non-personal technical information may be processed by embedded SDKs:

Device brand, model, CPU architecture, and screen resolution.
Android OS version, language preferences, and locale settings.
App performance logs, memory usage, and crash stack traces.
Anonymous diagnostic telemetry and advertising identifier (GAID), subject to your device settings.

4App Permissions

BP Care may request specific Android permissions to enable key application functionality:

Notifications / Alarm Permission: Needed to deliver local scheduled measurement reminders and medication alerts.
Storage / Files Permission: Needed to export your local blood pressure reports into PDF or CSV format and save them directly to your device downloads folder.

You can grant or revoke these permissions at any time through your Android device settings menu under Settings > Apps > BP Care > Permissions.

5How We Use Information

Information collected or processed is used exclusively for the following purposes:

To display interactive blood pressure charts, category statistics, and trend analysis on your device screen.
To generate local export files (such as PDF summaries) requested by you.
To trigger local reminder alerts at times specified by you.
To identify app bugs, diagnose unexpected crashes, and improve overall app reliability.
To serve contextual or personalized advertisements through authorized third-party ad networks.

6Health Information

We recognize that health measurements are sensitive. Because BP Care utilizes on-device local storage:

Your blood pressure records remain entirely under your personal possession and control.
KN Apps does not collect, aggregate, inspect, monetise, or sell your health metrics.
Your health entries are never uploaded to any remote server or shared with healthcare insurers or advertisers.

7Third-Party Services

BP Care integrates trusted third-party SDKs to provide analytics, crash reporting, advertising, and billing services:

Google Play Services: Core system support (Privacy Policy).
Google AdMob: Advertising display network (AdMob Privacy).
Google Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics: Telemetry and crash diagnostics (Firebase Terms).
RevenueCat / Google Play Billing: In-app purchase validation where applicable.

8Advertising

The free version of BP Care may display third-party banner or interstitial advertisements supplied by Google AdMob or authorized partners.

Ad networks may process your device's Advertising ID to show relevant or non-personalized ads.
Advertisers never receive access to your personal blood pressure measurements or medical log entries.
You may opt out of personalized advertising via your device settings: Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization.

9Analytics

We collect aggregated, anonymized usage statistics (e.g., screen views, button clicks, feature adoption rates) using Google Firebase Analytics. This data helps us understand feature utilization and improve software performance. It contains no personally identifiable health entries.

10Payments

If you purchase premium upgrades, ad-removal options, or subscriptions in BP Care, all financial transactions are securely processed directly by Google Play Billing. KN Apps never receives, stores, or processes your credit card numbers, banking credentials, or billing addresses.

11Data Sharing

Personal information and health information are not sold. We do not rent, trade, lease, or monetize your health data or personal metrics to third parties under any circumstances.

12Data Retention

Because all health information is stored strictly on your local device, it is retained on your device for as long as you choose to keep the App installed or until you explicitly delete the data. We maintain no remote backups of your readings.

13Data Deletion

Since all data is localized on your smartphone or tablet, you retain full control over deletion:

App Functionality: You can delete individual blood pressure logs or clear all entries directly within the BP Care app settings.
Android Settings: You can clear all stored database records by navigating to Settings > Apps > BP Care > Storage > Clear Data / Clear Storage on your device.
Uninstalling the App: Uninstalling BP Care automatically removes all local databases and stored app files from your device.

14Account Information

BP Care does not require account creation, cloud profile setup, or password authentication. There are no remote user accounts maintained by KN Apps, eliminating account vulnerability risks.

15Data Security

By restricting health record storage exclusively to your physical device, BP Care protects your sensitive data from remote server breaches. We recommend securing your mobile device with a screen lock (PIN, pattern, or biometric authentication) to safeguard your local app data from unauthorized physical access.

16Children's Privacy

BP Care is intended for general adult health tracking and is not directed towards children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from children.

17Your Choices

You have total autonomy regarding how BP Care handles your health data:

You can choose not to grant storage or notification permissions.
You can clear or export your health data at any time.
You can opt out of targeted advertising via your Android system ad settings.

BP Care is created strictly for general health, wellness, and self-monitoring informational purposes.

BP Care does not measure blood pressure directly by itself and does not replace dedicated medical hardware.
BP Care does not provide professional medical advice, clinical diagnosis, or treatment recommendations.
BP Care is not designed for emergency medical situations. Always consult a qualified physician for medical concerns.

19Changes to Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy periodically to reflect app updates or legal requirements. Updated versions will be published on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
